Fairfield Man Accused of Assaulting Woman that Already Had Protective Order Against Him
Sunhil Mehta, 45, was also arrested for assaulting the victim in a July 31 incident.
A Fairfield man is accused of slapping a woman, who already had a protective order against him, several times with an open hand, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
Sunhil Mehta, 45, of Park Avenue, was arrested Sunday night and charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and violating a protective order.
The Citizen reports that Mehta went to the victim’s business on Sunday night where he allegedly assaulted her.

The victim already had a protective order against Mehta for a July 31 incident when he was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and harassment, according to the Citizen.
