FAIRFIELD, CT — A man walked into a Fairfield gas station early Wednesday morning, complaining of a puncture wound in his chest, which Fairfield police said was the result of being stabbed by his roommate.

Police arrested Sean Rogerson, 56, of Fairfield, on a charge of second-degree assault. He was held in lieu of bail of $50,000, and was scheduled to be arraigned in court on Wednesday.

"This stemmed from an argument between roommates, and the stab wound was superficial (non-life threatening)," wrote Lt. Michael Paris in an email to Patch. "The object used was a kitchen knife."
