Fairfield Photographer Dave Bravo's New Book Published

David Bravo Lifestyle Photography News Release For Immediate Release For further information: Martin Arnold, 203.521.6548 Fairfield Photographer’s Third Book Rolls off the Press Proceeds from book sales to benefit The Kennedy Center Fairfield, CT June 11, 2013—Fairfield photographer David Bravo’s third book of photographic images is off presses from the publishers this week. Proceeds from the sale of the coffee-table style book will benefit The Kennedy Center, Trumbull, an organization that offers a broad range of programs and services for children, adults and the elderly with diverse disabilities Bravo says that while he is on assignment for editors, ad clients, or taking wedding or baby portraits, he stays on the lookout for images others don’t see. “I think people will be interested in what I see through a lens that reflects a kaleidoscope of shots,” Bravo says. Among the 170 black and white and color photos in “Intersections” is an eclectic collection of portraits and landscapes that Bravo shares with others. He chose the title to show how he intersects with the world around him and how the people and places depicted intersect with one another. But why give 100 per cent of the proceeds to the Kennedy Center? He says it just makes sense to support the Center as it has meant so much to him and his family over the years. Bravo says, “The Kennedy Center helps people live their lives to their full potential.” Kennedy Center President and CEO Marty Schwartz said, “David’s passion extends beyond photography to include helping others less fortunate. We are thrilled to be a beneficiary of Dave’s work.” With an initial press run of 3,000, “Intersections” is now available through on-line booksellers or directly from the author. Phone 203.520.3075 for more information. Bravo’s Web site is www.davidbravo.com; e-mail db@davidbravo.com. I am a reflection of the world around me. Through my lens, in a split second, life is captured forever—David Bravo. Bravoredo.doc/documents/mha
