Fairfield Police Welcome New Officers
The newest members of the Fairfield Police Department were sworn in on Wednesday.

Fairfield, CT — Fairfield Police welcomed the newest members of their department, who were sworn in by First Selectman Michael Tetreau on Wednesday.

We welcome Officer Zerella, a lateral transfer from the Wallingford Police Department, and Officer Colwell, a lateral transfer from the Ansonia Police Department. Officers Zerella and Colwell have begun a modified field training program to familiarize them with the Fairfield community.
In addition, our newest recruits, Brian Griffin and Justin Young, will begin their training at the Connecticut Police Academy on July 1st.
