Fairfield Republican Town Committee Seeking Candidates

To be eligible, candidates must reside in Fairfield and be registered as a Republican.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Republican Town Committee will be nominating candidates to serve on the committee for a term running from March 2022 through March 2024.

The nominations will take place 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Board of Education conference room, 501 Kings Highway East, second floor. All registered Republicans in the town of Fairfield are welcome to participate.

The Republican Town Committee is charged with recruiting candidates to run for office; nominating candidates for local, state and federal elections; raising campaign funds; supporting campaign efforts; and being the voice of constituents when it comes to issues impacting the town and state.

“We have many amazing residents who have come forward to serve," Chairwoman Sarah Matthews said in a committee news release. "We are still actively looking for additional candidates. This is a great way to get involved in politics at an entry level and network with fellow Republicans. If you have ever thought of being more involved, contact us today.”
