Fairfield Seeks To Fill Positions On Library Board, FairTV Commission
The Library Board of Trustees has one open position, while the FairTV Commission has two vacancies.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Open positions need filling on Fairfield's Library Board of Trustees and FairTV Commission, according to a recent Town Update from First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick.
The Library Board has a vacancy for a term that will run for six years from July to July 2029; to be eligible, an applicant must be a Fairfield resident, and can be from any political party.
"The Board of Trustees work with the Town Librarian and staff to set policy, oversee Library operations, and help with strategic planning," according to the post.

To be considered for the position, a person must fill out this form by June 15.
As for the FairTV Commission, it has two vacancies for positions that serve three-year terms, beginning in July.

"Per Town Ordinance, one of the vacancies must be filled by a registered Democrat and the other by a registered Republican," according to officials.
The commission oversees "the development and operation of educational and government access television programming in Fairfield," and it meets on the third Wednesday of the month.
People interested in one of the vacancies can apply by filling out this form.
Additionally, the commission is also looking to hire a part-time FairTV Manager, which has a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
"This person is an independent contractor hired by the Commission to manage the FairTV channel operations."
