Fairfield Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair Event set for July
More than 50 Fairfield businesses are expected to participate in the event, which will also feature live music and children's activities.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Town of Fairfield and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will again co-sponsor the Fairfield Sidewalk Sale & Street Fair Event, which will be held, rain or shine, in Fairfield Center on Saturday, July 23, First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced on Tuesday.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Select merchants will offer a preview of sale merchandise beginning Thursday, July 21, according to Tetreau.

More than 50 Fairfield businesses are expected to participate in this year’s event, setting up stands and offering a variety of merchandise for sale along the Post Road from the Heritage Square Shopping Center to the Promenade at the Brick Walk. Admission is free.

Sherman Green will feature activities for children and families, where an inflatable bounce house, face-painting and balloon artist are all planned. This year’s event will also feature live musical entertainment at multiple venues scattered throughout Fairfield Center.
A full event lineup will be unveiled in the next several weeks.
Limited sponsorship opportunities still exist.
