Fairfield Traffic Alert: Expect Delays on Sunday for Road Race
Fairfield Firefighters are hosting their 35th Half Marathon Race for several charities on June 28. Check here for where to expect delays.

This Sunday, June 28, the Fairfield Firefighters will host their 35th Fairfield Half Marathon Road Race to benefit many local and regional charities. Last year, more than $400,000 was raised.
- Residents South of the Old Post Road, between Reef Road and Beach Road, should expect traffic delays between 8:15 a.m. and 8:35 a.m., and again when the runners return between 9:15 and 10:45 a.m.
- Residents South of Oldfield Road, between Reef Road and Sasco Hill Road, should expect delays between 8:20 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., and again when the runners return between 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
- Residents on and South of Pequot Avenue and Westway Road, as well as Oxford Road, should expect delays between 8:25 a.m. and 9:45 a.m.
