Fairfield University Among Top 25 Best Mid-Sized Colleges and Best Colleges for Nursing

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield University has been selected among College Raptor’s Top 25 Best Mid-Sized Colleges, and the Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing & Health Studies is recognized on its list of Top 25 Best Colleges for Nursing in the U.S.

This designation acknowledges Fairfield University as a top institution nationwide, based on factors such as retention rate, graduation rates, median SAT/ACT scores, student-to-faculty ration, campus diversity, endowment per student, selectivity, and other metrics as reported by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) for the latest enrollment year.

The list of College Raptor’s Top 25 Best Mid-Sized Colleges contains schools that have between 3,000 and 9,999 total students enrolled—including undergraduates and graduate students.

For the Top 25 Best Colleges for Nursing, College Raptor considered the “overall excellence of the school,” and highlighted “schools where nursing is among the most popular programs, as well as schools that excel in graduating a large number of nurses each year.”

This year’s release marks the college planning website College Raptor’s tenth year launching Best College Rankings.
