Fairfield University’s Class Of 2024 Among Strongest Academically

Fairfield's Class of 2024 presented a new record applicant pool, as well as the second largest first-year headcount in university history.

Fairfield University’s Class of 2024 is poised to be a strong addition to the University community. Ushering in the Fairfield’s largest applicant pool ever with over 12,500 applications submitted this enrollment cycle, the class is also the second largest first-year headcount in University history of 1,150 students.

Additionally, the Class of 2024 is showing strong academic promise and diversified scholastic and extracurricular pursuits. The class comes to Fairfield with an average high school GPA of 3.61 and average SAT/ACT scores of 1312. With 19 student government presidents, 797 students who completed service work, 120 musicians, and 769 student-athletes, the Class of 2024 promises to be engaged in all areas of campus life.

Members of the Class of 2024 will make their arrival in Fairfield from 27 states, plus Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico, as well as nine countries. including Vietnam, Japan, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.

While Fairfield’s undergraduate Class of 2024 is set to make its mark at Fairfield, the incoming pool of graduate students also presents a robust student population.

Applicants to Fairfield graduate studies in fall 2020 represent over 25 different states and are taking part in over 40 distinct programs. The incoming graduate students will also make up the inaugural classes for Fairfield’s newest programs in Online Business Analytics, Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition, and Marketing Analytics and Strategy.
