Fairfield Warde High School To Celebrate 70th Anniversary Of Woodshop Program
The program will host its 30th annual Wood Show in June.
FAIRFIELD, CT ā Fairfield Warde High School will host its 30th annual Wood Show from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 6, in the school's cafeteria, according to organizers. The public is invited, and admission is free.
The event will mark the 70th anniversary of the school's woodshop program, and will feature current student projects entered in a judged competition.
Additionally, the show will have a silent auction of handcrafted items such as a cornhole set, dining table, decorative pens and a bench, with proceeds supporting the schoolās woodshop program. School alumni are also invited to submit past work for judging as part of the anniversary celebration, with entries due by June 5; contact Luke Allen at LALLEN2@fairfieldschools.org for more information.
