Fairfielders Encouraged To Shop Local On Small Business Saturday
Small Business Saturday is an opportunity to remember "the small businesses that help make Fairfield special," the first selectwoman said.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The town of Fairfield and Chamber of Commerce will celebrate Small Business Saturday with a welcome station downtown to encourage residents to patronize small businesses in Fairfield.
"Small Business Saturday is a terrific opportunity to kick off the holiday season by remembering the small businesses that help make Fairfield special, and we would encourage all to 'Shop Small’ throughout the year, but especially during this festive time of year," First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick said in a recent email to residents.
Shoppers may receive a complimentary “Shop Small” canvas shopping bag, courtesy of American Express, at the welcome station, which will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on Sherman Green. The chamber will give out “I Love Fairfield” button pins and share information about the Fairfield Community eGift Card program.
