Fairfield's 2 Public High Schools Among Top 30 In CT: New Report
Ludlowe and Warde in Fairfield were ranked by U.S. News & World Report as among the top 100 in the state.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield's two public high schools are ranked among the top 100 in the state, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Fairfield Ludlowe High School was ranked No. 21 in the state, while Fairfield Warde High School was ranked No. 27.
The rankings come from the 2024 Best High Schools list published earlier this week by U.S. News & World Report.

Connecticut public high schools ranked second in the nation, with just under 43 percent of its schools in the top 25 percent.

State-by-state performance is based solely on which states have the largest proportion of schools in the top 25 percent. Massachusetts once again leads in the ranking.
The rankings also include the best magnet, charter and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) schools.
