Fairfield's Sadowsky Performing in The Wizard of Oz in Danbury

Fairfield’s Jacquelyn Sadowsky is performing in The Wizard of OZ through Aug. 9 as part of the 30th season of the Musicals at Richter in Danbury.

The remaining performances are Aug. 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9. The show is staged on the grounds of the Richter Arts Center, 100 Aunt Hack Road, in Danbury.

Grounds open at 7:15 p.m. for picnicking, with the show at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students and $10 for children under 10. For Thursday performances, tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and students and $5 for children under 10.

Group rates and chair rentals are available. A snack and soft drink concession is on site.

Performances are given outdoors under the stars where audience members can bring food and drink to picnic on lawn chairs and blankets before and while they watch the show.
