The inaugural Chamber Orchestra of Fairfield concert was a success that raised more than $2,000 for charity.
More than 100 attended the event. First Selectman Mike Tetreau gave opening remarks.
“Not only did it provide high school musicians with an opportunity to play alongside collegiate and professional musicians, it also became a special performance outlet for the venue, First Church Congregational,” said chamber founder Darren Ziller. “And most importantly, it turned into a successful platform to raise money for various causes through classical music.”
