Via the Fairfield Police Department: FAIRFIELD, CT — A slow-moving storm is expected to produce high tides on Thursday and Friday, which may cause flooding on Fairfield Beach Road. Residents should consider moving their cars to higher ground starting at 8 a.m. Thursday and continuing through midnight Friday. Parking restrictions for Veterans Park have been suspended for the duration of the storm.
