Food Truck Festival Coming Soon To Fairfield
All proceeds from the festival, which will be held at Jennings Beach, will benefit the Fairfield Public Library.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The first Fairfield Food Truck Festival will take place on Sunday, Oct. 1 at Jennings Beach in Fairfield from 12 noon to 7 p.m. The event is hosted by the Friends of Fairfield Public Library and all proceeds will benefit the Fairfield Public Library’s initiatives and programs.
Admission is $5 per person, with children age 12 and under free. There is free parking for the event at the beach. The food trucks will charge their usual rates.
“This is an affordable, family-friendly event and a great way to cap off a wonderful summer,” Friends of Fairfield Public Library President Margo Kaminsky said. “The proceeds will help the Fairfield Public Library continue to serve people of all ages in Fairfield and beyond.”

The Fairfield Food Truck Festival is the only one of its kind in coastal Fairfield County. Attendees can expect to sample the wares of many of the most popular and unique food trucks from throughout the area.
“I am thrilled to be part of a food truck festival right in my back yard. Come down and bring your appetite, because there will be a lot to choose from,” said Gary Zemola, owner of Super Duper Weenie in Fairfield.

Star 99.9 radio station personalities will on site with giveaways and entertainment. Expect other special guests.
Some of the confirmed food truck vendors include: Fire Engine Pizza, The Belgian Bus, DrewbaQ, Cinnamon Churros CT, The Local Meatball, Firehouse Grill, Hapa Food Truck, Super Duper Wienie, Happy Rays Ice Cream, Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies, Edison's Famous Ice, Source Coffee House's Buzzbus and CocoaNuts CT dairy-free gluten-free Thai rolled ice cream.
