Former Fairfield First Selectman to Join Ganim's Administration
Bridgeport Mayor-Elect Joe Ganim tabs Kenneth Flatto for city post.

Former Fairfield First Selectman Kenneth Flatto will join Bridgeport Mayor-Elect Joe Ganim’s administration as finance director, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Flatto, who served as Fairfield’s first selectman for 12 years before resigning in 2011 to take a position in Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s administration, was an adviser to Ganim on his successful campaign to return to Bridgeport’s top spot after being convicted on 16 charges of corruption in 2003 and serving seven years in jail.
After leaving Fairfield to become the state’s executive director of special revenue and gaming and serving in that role for eight months, Flatto left for a position with the Jewish Home for the Elderly, according to the Citizen.
