FTC Announces 8th Annual ENCORE Gala

In addition to live music, the evening will feature cocktails, delicious hors d'oeuvres, a Rock 'n' Stroll dinner by OnTheMarc, and fantastic silent auction items. The festivities continue after dinner with the first and only performance by the “One-Night Stand Band” consisting of some of FTC’s favorite local musicians: Featuring << Fuzz Sangiovanni: Musical Director, Guitar, Vocals (Deep Banana Blackout, Caravan of Thieves, Tom Tom Club) Eric Kalb: Drums (DBB, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings) Cyrus Madan: Keys (DBB, Martin Sexton) Dan Asher: electric and upright bass (Caravan of Thieves) Tommy Weeks: Sax (Funky Dawgz Brass Band) Mike Marsters: Trombone (The Funky Dawgs Brass Band) Kim Curtin – Violin, flute (The Alpaca Gnomes) and Special Guests << Stephen Kellogg, Elise Testone, Tim Warren and Eric Donnelly of The Alternate Routes, Dave Schneider, Javier Colon.

ENCORE is FTC's largest and most essential fundraiser. This is one of the most notable events in Fairfield, offering guests an unparalleled night of fun, community, and as always, creative and artistic surprises. Proceeds from this annual event enable FTC to continue as the nonprofit cultural hub of Fairfield County.

“The Gala is our biggest night of the year with 200+ fans and supporters in attendance. The evening raises funds to support our mission of bringing the best live music, art, film, culture and educational programming to Fairfield,” said Gala Co-Chair and FTC Board Member Michelle Quinn.

“These funds help us cover the balance of our operating expenses that ticket sales do not. It is truly amazing to see everyone come together to help make ENCORE a resounding success and to show their support for the future of FTC,” said FTC Producing Artistic Director John Reid.
