Groping Of Fairfield University Student Investigated
The student told police the incident occurred when he was offered a ride back to campus.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Police are investigating a reported groping incident in which a Fairfield University student says occurred when he was offered a ride back to campus on Saturday night, according to multiple reports.
The Connecticut Post reports the 19-year-old student was walking up the Post Road at about 11 p.m. when a man in his mid-50s offered him a ride to the Fairfield University Campus.
The student told police that during the drive the man reached over and put his hand on the student’s crotch, according to the Post.

The Fairfield Daily Voice reports the student jumped out of the car at the intersection of Barlow and Round Hill roads and immediately reported the incident to campus security.
