Harry Chapin: A Celebration in Song Benefit Concert

A special benefit concert at Quick Center for the Arts on November 12

A very special concert, Harry Chapin: A Celebration in Song is taking place on November 12th at 8 p.m. at the Quick Center for Performing Arts at Fairfield University located on 200 Barlow Road in Fairfield Connecticut. The Chapin Family -Tom Chapin, Steve Chapin, Big John Wallace, Howard Fields, Clark Wallace, Jonathan Chapin, Jen Chapin and The Chapin Sisters will be performing to celebrate Harry Chapin's life and legacy.

This is a benefit concert for the Harry Chapin Foundation to mark its 35th anniversary. The concert starts at 8 pm. Concert tickets are $60 and $40 and are available now at www.quickcenter.com (click on the "Buy Tickets" link there).

A special highlight of this event is the re-concert "meet and greet" reception with the performers and other members of the Chapin family will be from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Tickets for that are $35 and include wine, cheese, and chocolate. Purchase tickets to the reception at the same website address.

Guests of this concert are asked to bring non-perishable food items to benefit Operation Hope, a non-profit organization in Fairfield that fights hunger and homelessness. For more information about the concert, check out this short promotional video
