HCC 9th Annual Scholarship & Awards Gala on April 21st

Housatonic Community College, in celebration of its 50th anniversary, announced today that the 9th Annual Scholarship and Awards Gala will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Funds raised during the event will benefit student scholarships.

A spirited cocktail party is planned, filled with music, dancing, food tastings, student performances and exciting auction prizes. Mrs. Simin Allison and Mr. Robert D. Scinto will be honored for their philanthropy, and the event will take place on campus, in the stunning new space of Lafayette Hall.

“We ask the community to make plans to attend this special event which raises important funds for scholarships,” said Fiona Hodgson, Executive Director, Housatonic Community College Foundation. “With a new, fresh format, and a celebration of the College’s 50th anniversary, attendees are sure to have a entertaining evening.”

For 50 years, nearly 400,000 individuals have pursued their dream of a better life through higher education at Housatonic Community College. This gala will celebrate the College’s 50th anniversary and its accomplishments over half a century.
