The performance, which features seven acrobats supported by driving live percussion, will take place on Thursday, Jan. 31.

FAIRFIELD, CT — (From Fairfield University): Hailing from the circus capitol of the world, the Australian physical performance troupe Gravity & Other Myths will deliver high-flying, superhuman acrobatics and incredible feats of strength in their circus show titled A Simple Space. Tickets are now available for the unique and immersive performance taking place on Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. in Fairfield University’s RecPlex.

Featuring seven acrobats supported by driving live percussion, Gravity & Other Myths’ contemporary circus is anything but traditional. This performance of A Simple Space promises to be simultaneously humorous, frantic, delicate, and presented so intimately that you will feel the heat, hear every breath, and be immersed in every moment.

A recent review of A Simple Space in the Adelaide, Australia newspaper The Advertiser stated, “The ensemble not only wowed young and old with intense, jaw-dropping acts that had the audience on the edge of their seats — but also had them in fits of laughter with streaks of comedic play and competitiveness.”
