How to Win the Oscar Poll: A Discussion at the Fairfield Public Library

Stop by the library for a fun discussion and then (hopefully) win your office Oscar poll.

From the Fairfield Public Library:

Wondering which films will win at the Oscars this month? Are you often confused with the winners, and this year, even the nominees?

Come and talk movies and find out which films we think should win, and which films will think will probably win. Learn about the historical inaccuracies in three of the nominated films, question racism in the Academy and explore other hot topics about the films that were chosen and those that were not.

Drop in for a fun discussion on Wednesday, February 18 at noon in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Then, win the Oscar poll at your office.

Library staffers and movie fans Philip Bahr and Nicole Scherer will lead the discussion. They have strong opinions on the topic of film and they love to share.
