I recommend Jenn Leeper for reelection in the 132nd

As a former Republican and unaffiliated voter since 2016, I strongly support Jenn Leeper’s reelection to the 132nd District of the Connecticut General Assembly.

Serving as the Coordinating Director of Fairfield Senior Advocates and member of our town’s Affordable Housing Committee, I have worked closely with Jenn and found her consistently responsive to important community needs.

On the General Assembly's Aging Committee, she has shown an earnest, steadfast commitment to securing improvements for our state's most vulnerable citizens.

Jenn has consistently backed state budgets that ease the tax burden on our middle class, including expanded tax exemptions for pension, annuity, and IRA retirement income. She has also championed measured actions to expand housing options for Fairfield seniors, younger families, and young adults; this included affordable housing statute reforms that now earn moratorium-achieving credits for middle housing in "as of right" zones.

Jenn played an instrumental role in alerting town residents to United Illuminating efforts to construct monopoles in historic and sensitive Fairfield locations. Beyond sounding the alarm, she helped to drive defensive measures forward, helping secure much-needed reforms to Connecticut Siting Council public notice, financial oversight, and utility enforcement.

In a short time, Jenn has proven to be a respected, highly effective leader who listens to her constituents and works collaboratively to get things done. Fairfield is fortunate to have her representing us.
