Illegitimate Special Election is a Disguise for Anarchy

various local publications. It has started already. The inevitable biased pro-special election
letters should be pouring into the media for the next few weeks until the
date of the illegitimate special election for selectman of Fairfield on June 6th.
Their letters will give the false impression that the majority of taxpayers and
residents of Fairfield support Kevin Kiley, and in turn support paying
for an election that is not even legitimate. The majority of taxpayers who never signed the petition to force this illegitimate special election on the people will not believe their pro-special election propaganda.

The same false impression pattern was followed this past December when
several individuals wrote pro-special election letters to the editor.
3,200 signatures, only 5.4% of Fairfield's population were collected to
force an illegitimate special election on all the taxpayers of

Fairfield. Their disingenuous explanation was that this would allow for
"the will of the people" to vote for the next selectman when in fact the
selectman Ed Bateson has already been legitimately appointed by the rules and
regulations of the Fairfield town charter. Their "will of the people"
explanation is a disguise for anarchy.

Who are the ringleaders of this entire petition movement? The Fairfield
Education Association [FEA] teacher's union, the DTC, certain members of
the RTM? What are their motives for promoting such anarchic beliefs?
Why do the ringleaders have such arrogant disregard for the majority of
taxpayers who did not sign their petition but will be forced to pay for it?

The ringleaders will never provide an honest explanation for their actions
because if they did they would lose the illegitimate special election by
a landslide. If the majority of fed up taxpayers show up to vote on
June 6th the ringleaders and their sycophants will lose the illegitimate special
election by a landslide. Remember you will pay for this fraud whether
you vote or stay home. Please vote against Kevin Kiley who supports the
illegitimate special election that will take money out of your pocket against
your will. Vote instead for Ed Bateson who does not support the
illegitimate special election but is forced to run for the selectman's
seat that he already has been legitimately appointed to.
