Fairfield Salon Moves To New Location, Celebrates 20 Years In Business

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield hair salon recently reopened in a new location and celebrated 20 years of doing business in town.

Intrigue Salon hosted a grand reopening last month at its new space in the Brick Walk, 1275 Post Road. Fairfield First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick joined owner Carolyn Tassitano for a ribbon-cutting ceremony March 22.

“The Fairfield community has been so supportive over the years,” Tassitano said in a news release from the town’s Office of Community and Economic Development. “We are beyond honored to have such amazing families in the town that have not only been our valued clients but have become our cherished friends.”

The salon relocated in late 2021 when its previous space, also in the Brick Walk, was taken over by a restaurant group planning to open an Italian eatery named Sophie’s in the former locations of the salon and the Brick + Wood pizzeria. Intrigue can now be found between William Raveis and Citibank.
