On Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00-7:00 pm., the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County (JLEFC) will be hosting an open house at the Westport Inn for prospective new members to learn more about our organization, meet current members and find out how to join.
JLEFC was founded in 1920, and over the course of its 97-year history, the organization has impacted the community in significant and long-lasting ways with various projects and programs, many of which continue to thrive in our community today. JLEFC members gain invaluable training and experience through the creation and implementations of projects, which they subsequently bring to other organizations, businesses and non-profits.
Membership includes executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs, mothers and professionals. The Junior League welcomes all women who are at least 21 years of age and interested in making a positive impact in the community. By joining the Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County, members have opportunities to develop their leadership potential, obtain valuable skills, and utilize personal development training while serving the needs of the local community.
