Letter: Bill Perugini For Fairfield Constable, RTM District 9

"When talking with Bill, one quickly realizes that Bill does his homework and is accurately knowledgeable on the issues facing our town."

To the editor,

When I first met Bill Perugini over seven years ago it became very clear to me early on that this man has a strong passion and commitment to the town of Fairfield. At that time, Bill spoke to me of his involvement with some proposed tax changes in the town and was involved in advocating for the local taxpayer while certain assessments and tax rates were being reviewed. It was evident that he was very knowledgeable about the subject matter, and that he was strongly committed to the cause, which was on the homeowner's minds at that time.

In addition, Bill has worked tirelessly for the Fairfield Beach area in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and has been involved with flood mitigation interventions. His concern for the community shows in his person-to-person interactions, his willingness to help, and his care and concern, which is deeply genuine.

His successful career in the corporate world as vice president of an orthopaedic device company definitely plays out in how organized and effective he is as he attacks important tasks and causes benefiting this town.

Fairfield is lucky to have Bill, as he is, among other things, a strong public safety advocate and compassionate person who cares about the present and future of this town.

It is why I will be voting for Bill on Election Day, this Tuesday, Nov. 2, and hope that you will cast your vote and support for Bill as constable and as he runs for RTM District 9.
