Letter: Perugini For Fairfield RTM, Constable
"He has gained the respect of those in District 9 for his honesty and integrity," writes Chris McCoy.
To the editor:
I write in support of Bill Perugini, who is seeking re-election to the RTM for District 9 in the town of Fairfield. I have come to know representative Perugini quite well over this last decade and consider him not only an excellent steward of Fairfield, but also a good friend and trustworthy human.
In his capacity as an RTM leader for District 9, Bill Perugini wears many hats — all of which greatly benefit the residents of his district and our town. Currently, he is the vice chair of Public Health and Safety and a Fairfield Emergency Response Team member. He is also a Fairfield constable and justice of the peace. And, not only on top of that, he is vice president of the Fairfield Beach Residents Association. Clearly, this is a person of great pride and civic-minded duty. It is his passion for public service and unyielding commitment to our community that sets him apart from all others.

In summary, experience matters and Bill Perugini has it. So, too, does public engagement and asking the hard questions to get stuff rolling. He has gained the respect of those in District 9 for his honesty and integrity. As Teddy Roosevelt said, “Do what you can, with what you got, where you are.” Bill Perugini lives that motto. We can all benefit from his dedication, knowledge and passion. I urge all in District 9 to please vote for Perugini this Tuesday.
