Letter: Re-Elect Sharon Pistilli To Fairfield RTM District 3
"Sharon has been a thoughtful, accessible, and dedicated leader," writes Fairfield resident Nicole Stanton.
Dear Patch editorial team:
It’s my pleasure to write this letter in support of Sharon Pistilli’s candidacy for a third term on the RTM representing District 3.
While representing our district, Sharon has been a thoughtful, accessible, and dedicated leader. She is well versed on the many issues impacting our town and always willing to meet to gather feedback from constituents. She has also brought her considerable professional experience as a compensation analyst to bear on her RTM duties to the greater benefit of Fairfield. For example, her insistence on digging deeper and asking important questions on the FSW’s initial VERIP proposal helped result in a revised proposal that ultimately saved Fairfield millions of dollars in potential liability.

Sharon’s record of public service outside of the RTM is extensive and commendable. She is a committed community servant. Most recently, she was recognized for her tireless efforts with a communal garden where the proceeds were donated to local food banks and for her efforts to source — and sometimes sew! — necessary PPE during the early days of the pandemic. I personally have known Sharon for 15 years, and have had the pleasure of volunteering alongside her on school and community issues. Her energy, thoroughness, and dedication are unmatched.
For these reasons, and many more, I am urging the voters of District 3 to re-elect my neighbor and friend, Sharon Pistilli.
