Lux Hair Studio Expands Fairfield Business

The Post Road salon is owned by husband and wife, Adam Tuozzoli and Sandra Roxo.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Even a global pandemic could not stop the rapid growth of Fairfield-based Lux Hair Studio, a full-service salon that recently moved into a larger space to accommodate its expansion.

The business, owned by husband and wife, Adam Tuozzoli and Sandra Roxo, is now located in a lovely brick building at 1997 Post Road, and Tuozzoli told Patch that staying in Fairfield was important.

"I grew up in Fairfield, so it was important that we stayed here," Tuozzoli said, adding that the salon moved from a smaller Post Road space to the current location. "It's where our clients are accustomed to going, and we want to be here for them."

Tuozzoli and Roxo opened Lux in early 2018 with just two stylists. The business now has seven stylists and a total staff of 15.

To celebrate the recent opening of the new location, the owners and staff gathered with Fairfield Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart and Marketing Coordinator Mary Alice Limperopulos to cut a ribbon to announce the expansion.

"This is always a very celebratory time for a business," Barnhart said. "We wish you all the best in your new location."

Lux provides "a warm and welcoming environment where their guests are made to feel both special and at home," according to Barnhart.

"Sandra and Adam, both having worked in Fairfield for over 20 years, feel it’s such a blessing to be part of this amazing community who have shown them so much love and support over the years," Barnhart said.

Lux Hair Studio is open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
