Man Accused of Posing as Uber Driver, Raping Sacred Heart University Student: Report
Disturbing details emerge following the Bridgeport Police Department's raid on the bar where the suspect met the 19-year-old victim.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A convicted felon is accused of posing as an Uber driver, drugging a 19-year-old Sacred Heart University student and repeatedly raping her while ordering her to hold a stopwatch to time his assaults, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the disturbing details emerged during the arrest of Alfonso Reid, whose prior convictions include attempted murder, assault and gun possession, and spurred the Bridgeport Police Department’s raid on the Golden Star Café on Main Street, in which 85 Sacred Heart students were cited for underage drinking.
Reid, 39, who was arrested on a warrant just hours before Tuesday night’s raid, met the victim at the bar when he was waiting outside and she thought he was the Uber driver her friends had called for, according to the Post.
Reid allegedly told the victim and her friends that his name was “Fonzie” and he was both a former employee and student at Sacred Heart University. He is accused of tricking the victim to separate from her friends and taking her back to his house and repeatedly raping her, according to the Post.
