Police saw a man who matched the description about 3:30 a.m. driving a 2019 blue Honda Fit on Old Post Road, the news release said. The Fit was reported stolen from Bridgeport and when police tried to stop the driver he refused, instead leading law enforcement on a chase, which police eventually decided to end, according to the news release.
Later Saturday morning, police identified the suspect as Rosado and followed him to a gas station on North Avenue, where he was detained, the news release said. Rosado did not have a valid driver's license and was in possession of a cell phone stolen from the owner of the Fit, according to police.
