Marshalls of Fairfield was recognized with a Summer Savers Silver Award from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for reducing their energy usage by 15 to 19 percent through lighting upgrades. TJX, parent company of Marshalls, utilized programs available through the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, administered by The United Illuminating Company as part of the Energize Connecticut initiatives.
