Men Charged with Robbing Chinese Food Delivery Man in Fairfield
The restaurant's owner alerted police that a robbery might occur after recognizing the takeout order's phone number from a previous incident

FAIRFIELD, CT — Two Fairfield men were arrested for allegedly robbing a Chinese food delivery man on Monday night after the restaurant’s owner gave police a heads up that a robbery might occur, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports the owner of LC Chen’s restaurant alerted police that the phone number for a take-out order was the same one used when his delivery man was robbed on March 18.
The delivery address, the Sky Hookah Lounge on Kings Highway, was also the same general address used in connection with the March 18 incident and also for the robbery of a Chinese Wok delivery person on March 9, according to the Citizen.
Police set up a perimeter and observed two men, later identified as Feras Halabi, 20, and 19-year-old Kevon Polk, rob the delivery man of $39 worth of food, according to the Citizen.
Police found the suspects a short time later.
