Man with Disabilities Suffers Burns After Co-Workers Convince Him to Hold Dry Ice: Fairfield Police
Two former employees at Valvoline, including the assistant manager, were arrested for the incident.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Two former employees of the Valvoline on Tunxis Hill Road, including the assistant manager, are accused of convincing a co-worker, described as mentally disabled, to hold dry ice in his hands, which resulted in second-degree burns, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Luis Santiago, 25, and Jonathan Rodriguez, 28, were arrested on warrants for the Aug. 19 incident. The men face reckless endangerment charges after they allegedly convinced the victim to hold the dry ice in his bare hands for two minutes in exchange for $2.
The victim was working at Valvoline through a program run by Goodwill Industries, according to the Citizen.
