Mercedes Stolen From Fairfield Gas Station: Police

A 2012 Honda Civic, which had also been stolen, was left in its place, according to Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Mercedes was recently stolen from a Fairfield gas station, according to police.

The incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. March 10 at Citgo, 1096 Post Road, where a black Mercedes C300 was taken, police said, adding that a 2012 Honda Civic was left in its place.

The Honda was also a stolen vehicle, and had been taken from Wallingford, according to police. The Mercedes was found March 11 in Hamden, and a suspect, an 18-year-old from New Haven, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service and New Haven police, authorities said.
