Weinstein Chiropractic and Wellness Center Joins with Operation Hope to Create “Milk and Cereal” food drive

Fairfield, Connecticut, August 27, 2018—Dr. Bradley Weinstein, of Weinstein Chiropractic and Wellness Center, is pleased to announce that he has teamed up with Operation Hope to deliver food to underprivileged children in the Fairfield County area. The food drive, specifically aimed at collecting milk and cereal, will be held at the Black Rock Turnpike office of Weinstein Chiropractic and Wellness Center, and will then be distributed locally to Operation Hope.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to work with such a wonderful organization as Operation Hope. When I inquired with Carla Miklos, Executive Director of Operation Hope, she responded quickly that the pantry was in need of milk and cereal for the children. So we decided on a “Milk and Cereal” food drive," said Dr. Bradley Weinstein of Weinstein Chiropractic and Wellness Center. "I think we all take certain things for granted like food, water and clothes. It's unconscionable that in our society some children go without these basic necessities year round, and that is why we are working towards the goal of feeding as many children as we possibly can throughout the year.”

September is now “Milk and Cereal” month:

Beginning Saturday, September 1 through Sunday September 30, members of the community are being asked to drop off “shelf stable” milk (dairy, almond, or soy) and boxes of cereal to Weinstein Chiropractic & Wellness Center, located at 2228 Black Rock Turnpike, suite 208, in Fairfield. “We love the creativity of the food drive and are looking forward to working with Dr. Weinstein, who also sponsored a “Mac & Cheese’ drive a few years back”, stated Miklos. Miklos kick started the drive, along with Pantry Director, Kathleen McNamara, by donating several boxes of cereal and milk.
