Multiple Burglary Charges For Man Connected To Vehicle Break-Ins: Fairfield Police

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Bridgeport man was recently arrested in connection with numerous Fairfield vehicle break-ins, according to police.

David Elliston, 23, was the subject of a warrant arrest April 11 at the Fairfield police station and was charged with the following, according to law enforcement:

  • 10 counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary;
  • Nine counts of conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny;
  • One count of second-degree burglary;
  • One count of conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary;
  • Two counts of third-degree burglary;
  • One count of illegal credit card use;
  • One count of fourth-degree larceny;
  • One count of fifth-degree larceny;
  • One count of conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny;
  • One count of sixth-degree larceny.

The charges were tied to multiple incidents July 31, 2019, according to court records. Elliston was connected to vehicle break-ins and thefts inside an unlocked garage, police said, adding that during one of the thefts, credit cards were stolen and used. Elliston has yet to be arraigned and is due in court Tuesday, according to court records.
