New Restaurant Opening In Fairfield To Feature New Technology

The restaurant is looking to eliminate wait times without sacrificing quality.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A new barbeque restaurant coming soon to Fairfield will feature technology along with a variety of slow-smoked and fresh-grilled meats and BBQ flavors, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Barbacoa Smoke House, which will open on the first floor of the Trademark Fairfield building at 665 Commerce Drive in Fairfield, is looking to remove wait times and get people in and out within eight minutes without sacrificing quality. To accomplish this goal, Barbacoa will use modern technology such as kiosks in place of cashiers and waiters and customers will be able to place orders from their mobile phones and tablets, according to the Post.

“Always fresh food plus a pinch of cheeky fun, Barbacoa Smoke House plans to please your taste buds with a unique twist on BBQ flavors,” according to a post on the Barbacoa website. “The tech-driven order process allows you to order from wherever, and you set the pickup time! Our ingredients are always fresh - in fact the only frozen item we'll serve are margaritas. Here's to welcoming you and your buds soon!”
