New Teeth Straightening And Whitening Practice Opens In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — A new approach to professional teeth whitening and straightening held its grand opening in Fairfield this week.

SET Straightening + Whitening is a storefront dental practice located in the Brick Walk at 1215 Post Road. It is owned by Fairfield resident Dr. Matthew LoPresti, a dentist with a traditional practice in Stamford.

"Fairfield is the perfect town for this," LoPresti told Patch at Thursday's ribbon-cutting ceremony. "It allows us to give patients what they want, in a new setting."

LoPresti, who also attended Fairfield University, said that he believes that the new practice will be popular wedding parties and students before prom, among other patients. He added that he was pleased to find a location in town that happens to be next to the skincare specialists at NicholsMD.

First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick, who cut the ribbon on Thursday, said she is excited to see "another new business come to our town."

For straightening, the SET practice uses Invisalign®, which the business can bring to patients "without blood or alecture on flossing, and in an experience that is like nothing before."

"My main practice is in Stamford but in ashort time while building and getting ready to open here in [Fairfield], so many small businesses have been welcoming and offering support in different ways - it feels special," LoPresti said.

He said that he saw a void in the access to both Invisalign® and whitening through traditional offices in terms of ease of getting those services, but also in the cost.

"With my experience and Invisalign® provider status, I am able to get Invisalign® and whitening to patients at an affordable cost while maintaining the highest professional standards at SET," LoPresti said.

SET Straightening + Whitening, 1215 Post Road in Fairfield, is open Tuesday (9am– 5pm); Wednesday (11am – 7pm); Thursday (10am – 7pm); Friday (9am – 6pm); and Saturday (10am – 4pm).
