New Wine & Spirits Shop Opens In Fairfield

The family owned-and-operated shop officially celebrated its opening in Fairfield this week.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Westcott Cove Wine & Spirits celebrated its official grand opening in Fairfield with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday morning. The shop is owned by Ihor Lukiv and managed by his son Alex. It is the family’s second Connecticut location with the original Westcott Cove spirit shop located at 705 Shippan Avenue in Stamford.

First Selectman Mike Tetreau, Community & Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart, and other invited friends, family and guests helped celebrate the shop’s grand opening with the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Westcott Cove Wine & Spirits, which is located at 1490 Post Road in Fairfield, offers a range of beer, wine and distilled spirits at competitive prices in a “friendly and relaxed environment,” according to a press release. Customer service is very important to owner Ihor Lukiv and his son Alex, who manages the store.

“We feature many of the most popular brands, but if you are looking for something particular that we don’t have, we will gladly order it for you,” Alex Lukiv said.

Westcott Cove Wine & Spirits is open seven days a week. Hours are a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
