FAIRFIELD, CT — The Lake Mohegan swimming area will be closed Monday due to rainfall exceeding closure criteria, according to an email from the Fairfield Health Department. The decision comes after Tropical Storm Henri blew through the area Sunday, bringing rain and winds, with a total of about 4 inches of accumulation expected over the course of Sunday and Monday.
