Norwalk Man Arrested In Fairfield Found With Loaded Gun: Police

Police said the arrest warrant stemmed from an earlier weapons investigation in Norwalk.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Norwalk man arrested on a warrant Tuesday in Fairfield was found with a loaded gun in a bag, according to police.

In a news release, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said the arrest warrant stemmed from an Oct. 18 weapons investigation regarding an armed subject complaint in the area of Burnell Boulevard and Main Street in Norwalk.

On Tuesday, Norwalk police learned Kevin Felix, 21, had been spotted at a convenience store on the Post Road in Fairfield. Officers, along with Fairfield police, surveilled the area and quickly located Felix, Dinho said.

Felix was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit and breach of peace. His bond was set at $150,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

At the time of this arrest, Felix was out of jail on a $50,000 bond from an October firearms arrest in Bridgeport, Dinho said.
