Passenger Thanks Cop After DUI Arrest In Fairfield: Report

A man with a history of DUI arrests was arrested again and the passenger reportedly thanked the officer for saving their life with the stop.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield man with a history of DUI arrests, including a three-year prison sentence that was suspended after one year, was arrested again for operating under the influence this past weekend, according to the Connecticut Post.

The Post reports Peter J. Wisniewski, 63, was arrested Saturday afternoon and the passenger in the vehicle thanked the officer during the stop, allegedly saying “You probably saved my life.”
