Have You Seen These Men? CT State Police Are Looking for Them
State Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspects after they used counterfeit money at the Fairfield rest area.
Connecticut State Police at Troop G in Bridgeport are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects who used counterfeit money at the Fairfield rest area last week.
On Jan. 29, state troopers responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts inside the I-95 Northbound Service Area in Fairfield.
An employee reported that a male customer had paid with a suspected counterfeit $20 bill. About 10 minutes later, a second male suspect also attempted to pass a counterfeit $20 bill to a different employee, but was unsuccessful.

Troopers responding to the scene immediately determined that the first bill was counterfeit.
The first suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, weighing about 130 pounds, with dark skin, a tattoo over his right eye, downward on his face. He was last seen wearing a burgundy jogging suit, with “Rhode Island College” printed on the hooded sweatshirt and a gold-colored winter hat.

The second suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, stockier build, approximately 5-feet, 6-inches tall, last seen wearing black pants and a black short-sleeve shirt.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Lund at Troop G at (203) 696-2500 with information. All calls will be kept confidential.
