Police Seize Cocaine, Heroin & Guns In Drug Bust: Fairfield PD
Two cars and $18K in cash were also seized in the drug bust, leading to the arrest of a man following a month-long investigation, police say
FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Police seized crack cocaine, heroin, guns, two cars and more than $18,000 in cash in a recent drug bust that led to the arrest of a Bridgeport man following a month-long investigation. With assistance from the Bridgeport Police Department, Fairfield Police executed two search-and-seizure warrants on Aug. 8 leading to the arrest of Gregory White, 40, of Bridgeport.
Police seized 65 grams of crack-cocaine, 41 folds of heroin, four unregistered handguns, a scale, packaging material and more than $18,000 in cash. Two vehicles were also seized in connection to the investigation. Police said White is a convicted felon who is ineligible to own firearms.
White was arrested on charges of criminal possession of firearms, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held in lieu of $400,000 bond and taken to Bridgeport Superior Court on Aug. 9, according to police. To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.

Police said the arrest was made as a “result of a month-long investigation after the Fairfield Police Department's Investigation Division obtained information on the sale of heroin and crack-cocaine within the Town of Fairfield and the City of Bridgeport.”
“This investigation and arrest is yet another example of the Fairfield Police Department's mission to ‘Make Fairfield Safer’ and we applaud the members of our Investigation Division for their diligence during this investigation,” police wrote in a press release. “In addition, we recognize the coordinated effort and assistance from the Fairfield Police Patrol Division, K9 Unit and Traffic Safety Unit along with the Bridgeport Police Department.”
