Popular Bakery/Café Opens New Location In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — Kneads, a popular bakery and Café with a location in Westport, opened a Fairfield spot this week.

The new location, at 1916 Post Road, makes breads and pastries by scratch, using fresh ingredients from regional grain producers.

Organic whole grains are stone-milled "retaining the bran, germ, and full nutritional profile."

The growing chain's Westport location opened in September 2020, and owners Daniel and Brittany Moreno plan to open a Greenwich location next year.

In addition to breads and pastries, the Fairfield location also serves coffees, breakfasts and lunches, and the shop also sells its organic flour.

The Fairfield spot is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
