Popular Food Truck Festival Returns To Fairfield
All proceeds from the festival, which will be held at Jennings Beach, will benefit the Fairfield Public Library's initiatives and programs.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The second Fairfield Food Truck Festival will be held at Jennings Beach, 880 S. Benson Road, in Fairfield on Sunday, Sept. 30 from 12 noon to 6 p.m., the Friends of Fairfield Public Library announced Tuesday. All proceeds benefit the Fairfield Public Library’s initiatives and programs.
Admission is $5 per person, children ages 12 and under are admitted for free, and there will be free parking at the beach. The food trucks will charge their usual rates. To sign up for Fairfield breaking news alerts and more, click here.
“More than 4,000 people attended the family-friendly festival last year, which allowed the Friends of Fairfield Public Library to fund a $17,000 upgrade to the Fairfield Public Library’s Mobile Computer Lab,” Friends of Fairfield Public Library President Margo Kaminsky said. “This year we have more trucks, more food and more fun planned."

Attractions include:
- More than 25 of the most crowd-pleasing and unique food trucks in Connecticut.
- Performances by Fairfield public school a cappella groups.
- Fun kid activities like face painting and story time.
A special sneak preview will be held at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road, on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 5 p.m., featuring free food samples from some of the participating trucks. The Fairfield Food Truck Festival is the only one of its kind in coastal Fairfield County, according to organizers.

“We’re excited to be back!” said Drew Kaplan, owner/operator of the popular DrewbaQ food truck. “We can’t wait to feed the large crowds and put smiles on their faces.”
